Grass tetany, the result of magnesium deficiency, is a danger for lactating cows grazing lush pasture. It’s also an issue for cattle feeding on wheat, oats or ryegrass, and those feeding on high-nitrogen fertilized pasture. Right Now® Gold contains magnesium and calcium to prevent and combat grass tetany.
In the southern and central states, Right Now® Gold can be offered during winter (for winter annual pastures) and early spring. The timing to begin feeding varies slightly in each region. At higher elevations, seasonal timing may be up to a month later than the corresponding region.
South: November to March
Central states: December or April
