The goal in designing a custom feed is to help you achieve your production and performance objectives. The design and conformance program measures the effectiveness of our efforts.

Once you’ve begun using one of our custom feeds, our consultants will visit your farm each week to collect performance data on your flocks. We’ll then analyze and track that data against your performance expectations. We do this to ensure ongoing consistency and accuracy. The design and conformance program allows us to adjust your custom feed without compromising your business.

Performance metrics such as growth are key to managing a profitable operation. We at Cargill Animal Nutrition continually track industry standards and trends in order to offer you the tools that best help you meet your goals.

Growth Curve classifies commercial broilers into production types and matches that with nutrient specifications for daily growth. Optimum weight gain is based on bird growth biological models, published information, and trials both in-pen and in the field.

With Growth Curve, you can check performance at any time, worldwide. You can even check live performance in the field. And when you need to boost performance, we’ll help you modify your nutrient specifications or feeding programs.

Proof of Performance

Get the full financial picture with our Proof of Performance (POP) program. POP analyzes profitability and performance of custom feed based on live performance, feed and chick costs, and market price. Compare live performance data from your birds with your expectations or with performance data from birds fed other feeds. We can help you decide which feed specifications to change and how to adjust your feeding program. Use POP to:
